Leila
Nueboree Midnite Diamond (IMP-AUST)
Leila is the first Australian import to join the Leveisha family, she came from one of the top breeders in Australia and is the current Matriarch of our Kennels. Leila is known for her sassy personality, her strong will and good looks. She is the proud Mother of 3 beautiful litters, including our wee Dot. Leila is the top dog of our pack and has been for many years now, regardless of her size she doesn’t take slack from anyone. Leila is now retired and lives her life with Hope, bossing her Borders around like the Queen she is.
Percy
NZ CH Llancarfan S Dynasty (IMP-AUST)
Percy aka potato, is Leveisha’s top show dog to date. He has won many awards throughout his reign and is currently New Zealand’s #1 German Spitz Mittle (2023). Percy not only lights up our world but the show ring as well, he has been complimented by many judges on his looks and movement and was even awarded 3rd place in the Best in Group lineup at the 2022 NZKC Nationals. Percy has a very aloof personality, he lives a very care-free lifestyle and loves to bathe in the horse troughs whenever he is off duty. Percy was an import from Perth, Australia from the renowned Llancarfan Kennels. He continues to dominate the breed ring while living life on the farm.
Emmy
NZ CH Llancarfan Irish Mist (IMP-AUST)
Emmy has been nicknamed the ‘crackhead’, as she was quite literally bouncing off of the walls from the moment she came home with us. Emmy is the sister to Percy (Mr Potato) and was also an Australian import from the wonderful Fran at Llancarfan Kennels. Now that she has matured, Emmy is the perfect mix of sweet and salty, she is always up for a belly rub but has to have her nose in every little drama going on. Emmy has won many challenges including an in show award, she took over the #1 German Spitz in New Zealand in 2022. Emmy continues to live up to her crackhead nickname and continues to dominate the ring in her division.
Whiskey
NZ CH Llancarfan Shot of Gold
Whiskey is an import from Perth, Australia, and comes from one of the top German Spitz Mittle breeders in Australia. His pedigree goes back to Aus Dem Norden, which was one of the top German Spitz Kennels in the world. Thanks to Whiskey, we now have a very close relationship with Fran, the founder of Llancarfan Kennels, who is now a dear friend of ours. She has mentored us throughout the years and we continue to look to her for advice. Whiskey has won many awards throughout his years, he was the first German Spitz to win a best of group award in NZ and was the #1 German Spitz Mittel in NZ in 2019. He is no longer shown in the ring, but continues to be the man of the house at home!
Johnny
CH Leveisha On the Rocks
Johnny is the new, up and coming, show dog in the Leveisha lines. For the short time he has been in the show ring, he has left a big impression and even given his uncle a run for his money. Johnny is the son of our Emmy and Whiskey. He shares his parents stunning looks with a fiery personality. Johnny was won many challenge certificates over the last 18 months and was even awarded a Best in Show at a 2022 Open Show. Like his lineage, he has been praised by many judges, as well as bystanders, on his looks and movement. He is just shy of his Champion title, but is sure to have no struggles in obtaining it.
Luchi
Leveisha Laced with Diamonds
Luchi has made quite the impression in the breed ring for the short 18 months she has been showing. Luchi has collected her fair share of awards as well, including multiple in Group awards. She is the daughter of our Percy and Dot, she shares many of their traits but is especially sassy like her Mother. Luchi has won the hearts of many people, including judges, and is an absolute sweetheart. She loves to terrorize her BFF Riot in her free time, taking on her Grandmother’s role of bossing the Border Collies around when Leila isn’t around.
Dot
CH Leveisha Golden Diamond
Dot is a very special member of our little family. Her litter was hand raised by us, due to unfortunate complications during birth where Leila was unable to feed them herself. Dot has always been a quirky little dog, ever since she was a pup she has loved to sit on people’s shoulders and cuddle them like a baby. Dot is full of spunk, just like her Mother, she is the only dog that will stand up to Leila and actually get away with it too! Dot is full of love which is the reason we kept her, she melted our hearts and we couldn’t let her go. Dot is the first ever breed champion of Leveisha Kennels and is the Mother many beautiful litters, producing predominantly chocolate and black puppies.
Shadow
CH Guerlain Bright Shadow of Hanovar
Shadow came to us as a special case. He was rehomed to us from the pound after a traumatising experience with his previous owners who sadly abandoned him when they moved from their property. He was left to fend for himself until Animal Services came to capture him where he unfortunately bit one of the male officers deeming him as aggressive. Jane, one of the Animal Control Officers and a good friend of ours, called us to see if we could do some work with him and to see if he was rehome-able. Shadow never left us after we took him in. We all fell in love with him and he showed no signs of aggression towards us, so he fit in perfectly. Shadow did have issues with men for years after his incident however, after hard work and lots of exposure he now loves everyone. Shadow is now retired and is living the rest of his life on the farm.
