Terms & Conditions

To ensure we are all on the same page, please read through our T&Cs

To ensure we can provide a safe, friendly environment, all clients must read and accept our terms & conditions before they can use our services.

Payment:

Payment is required on the day of service, whether it be on drop off or on pick up. Payment can be made via EFTPOS or cash on site or internet banking – account details below. If paying via internet banking, proof of payment must be shown on collection.

If for any reason your account is not paid in full within 7 days of issue you will incur interest on the total amount owing at a rate of 2.5% per month, which will be calculated on a daily basis. You will also be liable for any additional fees including collection costs, agency commission fees, full legal expenses and any other legal expenses incurred by us in attempting to recover payment from you.

Please note, if you are deemed a frequent late payer in our system, you will be notified that payment must be required prior to your dog attending our daycare.

Pricing:

We reserve the right to review our prices at any stage, with consideration to any changes in the financial climate.  Our commitment to you is that we will notify you about any changes of prices, by giving you at least 10 days’ notice.  We will honour any prepaid concessions received prior to the date of the proposed change.

Dog Restrictions:

Although our daycare caters to small-medium sized dogs, we are always open to trialling large dog breeds in our facility.  If, for any reason, we feel your dog is not suited to our daycare, you will be notified, and we will be able to recommend daycare at one of our other facilities or an alternative training option that will be more suited to your dog’s needs.

Our Grooming facility is equipped to take all dogs regardless of their breed and size.  If they have temperament or behaviour issues, we are happy to work with your dog desensitising them through the grooming process. We however reserve the right to turn any dog away that we feel will not be suited to our services, or you are asking us to groom a dog in a way we deem detrimental to the dog’s wellbeing.  If this happens, we will always explain why!

Temperament/Behaviour:

If your dog has any behavioural or temperamental issues towards other dogs or people, you must notify our staff on the initial booking. This includes nervous, anti-social or aggressive dogs as well as excessive barkers. If your dog falls under this category, they will be put on a 4-week trial, where our handlers will monitor and assess them in our pack and give you feedback on collection. If we feel your dog is not suited to our daycare, for any reason, then we will notify you and recommend a daycare plan at one of our other facilities or an alternative training option that will be more suited to your dog’s needs.

Spaying/Neutering:

We accept that Vets are now recommending dogs be desexed upwards of 7 months, so we are open to taking entire dogs in our daycare. Any male dog over the age of 7 months, that is still entire, will be assessed to ensure they are not showing any signs of testosterone driven behaviours such as dominance towards other dogs, excessive humping, reactivity towards other dogs and people.

If your dog starts to show any of the above signs, then you will be notified and a training program will be put in place for your dog at daycare, or alternative recommendations may be suggested. This may lead to your dog not being able to attend until they have been desexed, however, this will be based on a case-by-case basis.

Bitches on heat:

If your dog comes into heat, they will not be able to attend daycare. We have a 4 week stand down period, from the date they come into heat, to ensure their season is sufficiently complete before returning. If one of our staff notices a bitch in heat while at daycare, they will be immediately removed from the main pack, assessed by another staff member and the owner will be notified immediately. The dog will be kept in a separate area until the owner can collect them.

Health/Sickness:

If your dog is showing any of the below symptoms, they will not be able to attend daycare until they are fully recovered.

  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhoea
  • Hacking/Coughing

If we notice any of these signs while your dog is in our care, they will be separated from the main pack and the owner will be notified immediately. If we cannot get hold of the owner or their secondary/emergency contacts then the dog will be kept in our care, and monitored, until someone is reached.

Vaccinations/Flea & Worming:

Your dog must be fully vaccinated against DHP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo) & Kennel Cough, before attending Leveisha daycare & grooming, including their annual boosters each year. Your dog should be treated for fleas and worms on a regular basis, as well.
